Live and In Person

So now that I have both the hardcover and the paperback of my book Why We Ride, I’m going to be doing a bit of a book tour with readings followed by a Q&A and book signings. While these events have been promoted pretty heavily on social media, I haven’t before said anything here and, honestly, it’s high time.

The first of these events will happen Thursday, August 14 (tomorrow night) at Bike Effect in Santa Monica. The reading will start at 7:00 pm. To RSVP go here or here.

The second of these events will happen Friday, August 22 at Ride Studio Cafe in Lexington, Mass. The reading will start at 7:00 pm. For more information go here.

I’m in the process of lining up dates in San Diego, Santa Cruz, Sonoma County and my hometown of Memphis.

This post will reappear as I update it with locations and dates.

Please come to DC if you are in the Mid Atlantic.
Politics and Prose is the best bookshop for readings.
Or you can talk to the guy at District Cycle Works, he is starting to do events.

Any chance of Tucson getting on your event list? Will the hardcover be available in the RKP store soon? Thanks.

Looks like you’re coming out for D2R2. I’m going to have to miss the event at the Ride Studio because I’ll be setting up a tent out in Deerfield. Bummer.
Hope to meet you sometime, maybe at D2R2.

Likewise Dan, I hope to meet you. And yes, I’ll be in Deerfield to do some bike riding.

    Hi Padraig,
I’m hoping to attend your book signing event in Solana Beach next week and am wondering if there will be books for sale? If not I’d like to get one online in advance if possible.
    Thanks,
    Margaret Smiddy
