No-Drop Zone REI Mini-Tour
October is turning out to be a busy month for me. The outdoor retailer REI has graciously offered to do a series of talks and signings centered around my new book “The No-Drop Zone.” For those of you in the greater LA area, I’ll be appearing at four REIs between this week and next.
Here’s the schedule:
- Wednesday, October 12, 7:00 pm: Tustin
- Tuesday, October 18, 7:00 pm: Santa Monica
- Wednesday, October 19, 7:00 pm: Rancho Cucamonga
- Thursday, October 20, 7:00 pm: Arcadia
If you’re near any of those locations and have the evening free, I hope you’ll drop by and introduce yourself. If nothing else, it’ll give me a chance to thank you for reading RKP. Oh, and REI has a pretty good fall sale going on right now, I suspect you could use the 20% off coupon for a discount on my book … or nifty piece of gear.

REI is a pretty wonderful company. They could never replace my LBS or club’s shop sponsors in my heart, but I get a lot of non-biking outdoors gear there – and they’ve been a generous race sponsor, and recently plunked down a huge sum to help build a mountain bike skills area. Gotta love ‘em.
